Add Record

What is the syntax to add a blank record?
I am using a macro to open a form in add mode. But when
anything is keyed, a message appears saying that it is
too much data for the size of the field. I am guessing
that it is because there is no record.

Open your table in design view and check the field size of each field in the
lower section.
