Add Task ID Column to PWA Timesheet - Newbie

C

Carolyn

Just found this site and I'll be back!

I'm using Project 2002 Pro and Server. In PWA I don't see a way in Admin to modify the Timesheet View. Is the modifiable timesheet view something that was added to 2003?

Thanks

Carolyn --

In Project Server 2003, the Project Server administrator can directly modify
the Timesheet view in the Manage views page of PWA. Once done, the project
managers must still add the new timesheet fields to each project using
Tools - Customize - Published Fields and then republish the project
assignments using Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments. The
additional step must be performed by each project manager in each project in
order to populate the new fields in the Timesheet view.

The Project Server administrator cannot modify the Timesheet view in Project
Server 2002, so this must be done indirectly by each project manager by
adding the new timesheet fields to each project using Tools - Customize -
Published Fields and then republishing the project assignments using
Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments. Hope this helps.
