Add text with Asian or Arabic characters?

I am creating flyers and/or newsletters mainly in English but I want to add
an small bit of text using either Arabic or Chinese characters - what do I
need to do to accomplish this in Publisher?

Do you know the languages?
There are language packs you can install.
