I working on a database that was converted from Access 2003 to Access 2007,
I am trying to install a ADDIN, but everytime I try to install it, I get an
error "You do not have sufficient security permission to install this
Add-In. Contact your system administrator for assistance." I am opening the
database as an administrator. Any ideas how to get around this?
Thanks to all for your time.

I think rather than opening Access as Administrator, the error means
you need to be logged into Windows as an Administrator, or a member of
the Administrators group.

When you're opening Access, try right-clicking on the icon and selecting Run
as Administrator.

If I understand Vista correctly, even though your ID may be Administrator,
that doesn't mean you're running programs as an Administrator.
