Adding a custom animation 'grow/shrink to an Office-2K PP

I've got a presentation produced using XP. One slide has a custom animation of 'Grow/Shrink'. This presentation will be done using Office-2K and this feature is not working. Is this new to XP

Hello Julie,
Yes, Grow/Shrink forms a part of the several new animations which aren't
backward compatible with earlier versions. If you wish to view these
animations on systems which do not have PowerPoint version 2002 or laters,
you will need to download the free PowerPoint 2003 viewer

Thanks for info. I will get the laptop for the presentation upgraded to XP
