Adding a link to a photo?

J

John Morton

Hi

Can someone please tell me the best method to add a link to a photo from
this page: http://www.jcm-polo.com/ponies_for_sale.htm ideally to a page
that opens separately for each pony and then can be closed without using the
back button. i.e. I require thumbnail at the side of each pony to link to a
photo

How do I do this in FP2002?

Many thanks in advance
John

John,

Create a page for each horse's name - a horsey photo page.

Then create hyperlink from the for sale page's horsey's name to the separate horsey photo page. When you do the hyperlink thingie you will notice the Target Frame button on the right side of the box...choose that and select; New Page.

Don't forget to add a Back Button on the Horsey Photopage.

I hope this was what you were asking.

ah, they're not horses are they, they're poloponies right? :)

Rob

Thanks Rob
I've already managed to get it working - it's been uploaded already - but
thanks anyway - I think it looks as though I did more or less what you are
suggesting anyway!

Yep they are called ponies - it's an historic thing more than they are
actually ponies in the true sense of the word....

One last thing - is there anyway to specify the size of the page opened
using that 'new page' option? It would just be neater for me
TIA and Cheers

John

John,

Everytime I hear Polo Ponies it reminds me of an old comedy show...the Honeymooners... called them Poloponies (sounds like Greek island).

Anyway, yah,,, search back a few days and you'll find reference to Spawn (not the movie) it's an app. on Jimco's site (if I remember correctly) that will let you specify size of window...it's cool.

Bad on you. Although they are horses, horses used to play polo are called
Polo Ponies.

Just like horses that are bred to race are called Thoroughbreds, even though
they are a horse.

And, don't call a miniature horse a pony cause it isn't, it's a miniature
horse.

And genuine ponies aren't horses, they are ponies.

Thus concludes your equine lesson for today.

At least you don't have to feed them and clean the stalls.
