Adding a New Task

On the My Tasks page I selected New then Task. The New Task screen appears. I
was asked if the Finish and Total work boxes needed to be fill. There is an
Or between the two. What do you do?

Use total work ie 40hrs if you know the effort required and are not concerned
with the finish date, else use the finish date.

In either case, you will need to revist the assignments in Proj Pro to
ensure there's no over allocation and that the tasks fit as intended into the
plan (taking into account units of work, calendars, dependancies etc)

Try both options in a sample project so as to get a feel for how they work.
