In other words add a talking head

Hi,

Aside from the fact that a talking head is almost always a sure-fire
interest killer, it's pretty easy to do.

PowerPoint does not record or embed video. It only links to video files
saved elsewhere. So what you can do is use the Apple PhotoBooth
application that came with your computer to do the recording. You may
need to choose your camera from PhotoBooth's Camera menu, but the
controls you need should be right there. Then save your video as a file.

Then, in PowerPoint, use the Insert Movie feature.
