Hello.
I am looking for a solution for the following problem.
The Project workspace template for SharePoint Services does contain
two lists named "Issues" and "Risks". What I need is a way to add
a 100% copy of the "Issue" or the "Risks" list with an own link
in the left panel on the SharePoint site. So I have three lists then,
"Issues", "Risks" and "My copied Issues".
Unfortunately I was not able to realize this step I mean to make
a copy of the Issues list, because I cannot save this list as a
template to disk.
The special feature of this list "Issues" is those additional links
where I can add for example tasks and resources information to an
issue.
With the standard SharePoint functions for creating lists I can not
create those special links. I can add text fields, date fields,
currency fields and so on, but not those special links for adding
Project Server data like tasks, projects or resources information.
So I thought to make a copy of the existing list should do the trick
and give me the needed third list. Of course the title and the link
name will be changed, but that's all.
On my harddisk I found the subdirectory "Issue" which seems to contain
the
aspx files and the schema.xml , but how to import this template when I
copy all files into a new empty directory?
What can I do to create a list on the Project Workspace Website which
dos have the complete functionality of the Issues list ?
If the list is created then I want to add a link in the PWA menu like
the
"Issues" or "Risks" link.
Thanks in advance for any hints and help!
