adding account to another computer - error msg

When trying to create a .grv file to add account to a new computer, I get an
error message saying "Groove cannot save your account to the specified
location. Delete unneeded files to free disk space, make sure the location
isn't 'read only', and then try again to save your account."

My desktop isn't 'read only' and I have gigabytes of disk apce available.
Any clues as to why this is happening?

Hi Marc,

Try rebooting the computer, sounds like something is locked up on your
desktop or system.

I tried that again and am still getting the same error message. Any other
ideas?

Can you save the space to any other folder on your computer? When was the
last time you defragged?

No, not to any other folder or any kind of external drive. Defragged today.
Still geting the same error msg. Any other ideas?

No. Was hoping for more guidance.

Am considering wiping groove off my machine and starting over, but after
reading through some of the posts here, it seems getting it completely off is
a chore in itself.
