You can add a blank row after a subtotal:

Double-click an outer row or column field button
Click the Layout button
Check the 'Insert blank line after each item' box
Click OK, click OK

I couldn’t figure out what is outer row field button? I am sorry about this.
Could you please write how to select it to double click?
I have pivot table looks like this:
Id RCr7

Sum of Value BleedDate MeasureType
3/2/2004 4/13/2004
CellName % Abs % Abs
BCell 33 1806 17 1090
CD4 38 2061 23 1415
Ratio 1.9 2.3
CD8 20.4 1106 10 626
Lymphs 46.6 5424 68.7 6262
TCell 58 3151 19 1165
WBC 11300 10100

I am trying to insert a blank row after BCell, after CD4, after Ratio etc.
Which are different categories of the Row field "Cell Name".
Thank you.

If you have two fields in the row area, the first field is the outer
field. Since you only have CellName in the row area, you can't insert a
blank line.

However, you could move ID to the row area, below CellName
(that will make CellName an outer field)
Then, double-click on the CellName button
For Subtotals, select 'None'
Click the Layout button
Check the 'Insert blank line after each item' box
Click OK, click OK
