adding another calculation

I am customizing an invoice and would like to add a field called "less
deposit" before the balance due line. I need to be able to enter the deposit
amount and would like it to automatically sutract the deposit from the total
due. Can I due this?

You can add a rule to the "deposit" field to calculate and set the value of
the "balance due" field. Use a formula in this rule to do the subtracting of
"deposit" from "total due".
