Adding Bcc Field to the Message Form in Outlook

Mark Warwick

Hello

I am trying to find out how to modify the message form in Microsoft Outlook 2002.

I would like the 'Bcc' field to automatically appear along with the 'To' and 'Cc' fields when creating a new message, but I have so far been unable to find out how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am not sure if this is even possible.

Thanks in advance!!!

Open the message form in design mode. Drag the Bcc field from the field
chooser to the form. See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/forms.htm if you need
basic how-to information for forms design.

Um, actually, I don't think it's that complex. (I couldn't even get
that forms creation junk to work)

All you need to do is temporarily turn off the feature of using
Microsoft Word as your email editor. Click:
Tools -> Options -> Mail Format -> Use Microsoft Word to edit email
messages

Then, open up a new mail message. Then click:
View -> Bcc Field

Close the message, and then open a new mail message again. Verify that
the Bcc field is showing up.

Now go re-enable Microsoft Word as your email editor.

Worked for me. Soooo annoying.
