adding characters when titleing articles saved in Word

I can't use the following characters when naming an article to be saved in
word:
for example, " : ? ' ' are not accepted. Can I change the format to accept
these, and other characters?

If you mean the filename - then no. The reserved characters are determined
by the filing system.
