Adding columns when using templates

Is there a way to add a column to a project plan, when
the plan is based on a template that did not include the
column? When inserting the column, I get a message that
says the column will be added for the current session
only. I want to insert the column and save it so that it
always appears - not just during the current session.

You must add the column in any nonenterprise table while a nonenterprise
view is selected. It sounds like you are attempting to add the column to
the Enterprise Entry table while the Enterprise Gantt Chart view is applied.
Click View - Gantt Chart and then View - Table and then select the Entry
table instead, then you should be able to add the column. Hope this helps.
