Adding Custom AutoShapes

I want to take a shape that i have drawn in word and save it as an autoshape
for future use

1-is this possible?
2-if so, how?

You could use AutoText. Select your shape that you drew in Word, then press
Alt F3 and give it a name to trigger it. To use the AutoText, type the
trigger word and it should appear. Or else, go to Insert... AutoText and
click AutoText to see your list of entries.

I didn't realize you could assign pictures to autotext, but it doesn't really
behave in the manner i was looking for. I plan to have a extensive library
and autotext may become a problem when I am typing.

I am really more interested in having a real custom set of AutoShapes.

There is no way to add custom AutoShapes.
