Adding date range filter in Data analysis view

Hi,

I am using project server 2007 and have created a data analysis view. I
would like to give a date range filter somewhat similar to the Resource
Availability view, Resource Center -> click "View Availability" and then
click the "Settings->View Options" this will show the date range filter.

Can someone please help me with this.

There is no way to add a date range filter to a Data Analysis view. The
user must manually click the pick list arrow button in the Time column
header and then select the time period he/she wants to see. Therefore, you
would need to make this a training issue with your users and teach them how
to filter the time periods shown in the Data Analysis view. Hope this
helps.
