OK, I am using Word 2002 (XP)
When I insert a footnote into the text, using Insert->Reference-
text of the footnote itself.
BUT
The little divider line that appears above the footnote text has the
date pre-pended to it twice.
For example, if I've just inserted footnote #14, at the bottom of the
page, I get something that looks like this:
27/3/0727/3/07--------------------------------------------------------------------------
14
The "14" is the superscript number just before the text area of the
footnote. The stuff before the divider line is today's date (March
27th, 2007) in British style short formatting, pre-pended twice before
the divider line.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening, or more importantly, how I
can get rid of it?
Cheers,
Joe
When I insert a footnote into the text, using Insert->Reference-
nice litte field at the bottom of the page where I can type in theFootnote..., the correct number is inserted in the text, and I get a
text of the footnote itself.
