Adding Hotmail to Outlook 2000

In tryingto add a Hotmail address to Outlook 2000 on a standalone laptop,
the M$ instructions say to select New account of HTTP type. However, that is
not an option in my system, so it is not working for me. I can only choose
from IMAP or POP3. Any idea why or why not?

I am using Win2K Pro with Outlook 2K and SR-1.

Outlook 2000 doesn't support HTTP servers. You can use a tool like Hotmail
Popper if you want to download Hotmail to your Outlook
