I do not seem to be able to add a music file purchsed from iTunes to a PPT
presentation: how do I do this?
- Another format of music attached fine for me (but I do not have the music
I want in such a format)
- The iTunes format cannot be converted to other formats

I believe the iTunes downloaded music has copyright restrictions. It's designed to be played only on Apple Music
products (iPod).
It's a 'closed' system.

Just tried it by purchasing a track. The only option available is Convert to
AAC. When I select that I get "...could not be converted because protected
files cannot be converted to other formats. Now that's a good reason for me to
avoid the Store. I believe that I should, for example, be able to put the track
on a CD for my own use in my CD player/alarm clock in the bedroom, etc.

Ah, I just found a solution. Use the iTunes function to Burn Playlist to Disc
and select the tune(s) you want. Put a blank CD in your burner and then click
on Burn Disc. Once that is complete you can extract the CDA file using Windows
Media Player or Sound Forge, etc. and save as MP3, WAV or WMA.
