Adding language to Office

G

Googlefunnyheh

Hello! I'm new here.
I would like to know how to import a language into Microsoft Office 2007.
The problem I'm having is that there isn't any specific help for such things.
The language I'm seeking is Faroese/Føroyskt which is only found at our
schools.
Can anybody tell me where I can find it? As well as how to import it.

Hi Redmarine,

Faroese is a supported language in Windows (Locale ID 0438, and language code of fo-FO) for input,
http://microsoft.com/globaldev/DrIntl/faqs/Locales.mspx
but for Microsoft Office it's not one of the 37 language sets supported in the MS Office Multi-language proofing tools except as
may be included in the Danish proofing tools.

There is an open source speller available
http://www.speling.org/
but I've not tried it.

You may want to use the link below to also post in the Microsoft Word International Features group.
or the Danish Windows XP group at
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dk.windowsxp
for implementing the Locale for input in Windows XP
