Adding Media Clips

I am having a problem adding media clips that come from my digital camera
onto my slideshow? I can add media files from other locations that are .avi,
but I can't add media clips from my digital that are also .avi. Does anyone
know how to do this?

Do you get any error messages when you try to add AVIs from your digital
cam? Try renaming them to MPG or MPEG.

Try renaming your files from the camera, giving them a files extension of .mpg.
Then insert them and test them. A number of cameras incorrectly name the output
files.
