Adding More Pages to a Raffle Ticket Template

Hi all,

I'm using Publisher 2007 with Windows Vista. I'm creating raffle tickets for
my daughter who is running a fund raiser (she's 11).

I found a great template that came with Publisher. It has everything we want
including numbers in sequence - right now it goes from 1001 to 1080. The
problem is I don't know how to run off 400 tickets given that the template
creates a file with 8 tickets per page and it creates 10 pages only - ie. 80
tickets in total. I've added duplicate pages, but all that did was created
additional sets of tickets numbered 1073 to 1080 inclusive.

Can anyone tell me how to add another 40 pages to the file - with numbers
attached to it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated by my daughter and I!

Regards ....

From the way it looks the template is not connected to a data base. You can
insert new pages Insert, Page, check Duplicate all objects on Page __. You will
have to manually insert the new numbers. The numbers are on linked text boxes,
some of which you will have to stretch.

It maybe easier to create a data base with consecutive numbers, you can do this
within Publisher or Excel, Access, Word and other data bases.

File, Page setup, Advanced (on the right), Select Multiple Pages per sheet, Type
1.78 height, 5" width. Select custom sheet size 11" width, 8.5 height. .5
margins all around.
Copy/paste your ticket, centering it. When you copy the color will change. If it
is the first ticket the color scheme is Cranberry.

If you aren't sure about merging there is a tutorial here:

There is a quick tutorial here for Excel that explains consecutive numbers, it
is about the same in Access.
