Adding music

I have been unable to add music to my presentation; I've
only been able to add a song to 1 slide. I need to add a
song for the first 28 slides and then another for the
remaining 40.

right click the sound file, select custom animation, over in the task pane
right click the sound file entry again. Effect options click start playing
at one select stop play after 28
