I have created my 1st website using Publisher 2000.But I need to have more
than 10 pages.

I have managed to discover how to add pages, but I have not been able to
discover how to add hyperlinks to these extra pages, as I get the following
error message :-
"The Web Navigation Bar can contain only Ten Hyperlinks. To link the current
webpage please create a hyperlink from one of the other pages in your website.

The help I need is how can I do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

The navbar wizard in Pub 2000 allows only 10 pages to be added to the web
navbar. So you manually insert a hyperlink to your 11th page from one or
more of the first 10, and another hyperlink back, on the 11th page, and so
on. Highlight text or an image, Insert > Hyperlink and choose another page
in your website.

You can always abandon the wizard built navbar and build your own.

David,

Many thanks for your reply, the method you describe appears to work and will
be most useful.

The second method you describe appears to be more technical to me, but when
time permits I will enjoy seeing how it works.

Thanks again for replying , it has certainly got me out of a hole.

Don ,

I,m afraid that I am a complete novice on using Publisher and thought that
the Page size was set and could not be altered.

Are you able to explain how the page length can be altered.

Don,

Many thanks, I will use this method to lengthen my pages.

You also solved a problem that I had not asked for help on, namely how to
widen the page.

Both yourself & David have been a tremendous help.

Many thanks,

Don,

I'm not sure how wide you are making your pages, but anything over about
750 pix can cause a horizontal scroll bar to appear, usually not
something desirable.

(I'm not sure if 640x480 is a valid setting; my monitor has a range from
800x600 to 1600x1200 and have it set at 1152x864).

It used to be the maximum possible resolution; it was very popular in
Windows 3.1 and 95, but it is falling out of use in favour of 800x600
(which is still ridiculously small to my mind; I run at 1400x1050).
800x600 will, I believe, be unsupported in Windows Vista, with 1024x768
being the minimum resolution.

Whatever happened to making pages to the lowest common denominator so
that everyone would have a pleasant visit?

Ha! If you make a page targeted at 480x640 users and I come and try to
view it using my lovely 1400x1050 notebook display, I'll have anything
but a pleasant visit. The site will be a thin bar down the left-hand
side of my screen. Or if I'm really lucky, down the centre of my screen.
