Adding programs to Office's "New Office Document" dialog box

Harry

I have Office 2003 Professional as well as MS Project 2003, Visio 2003, and
the rest of MS's Office offereings. I would like to add template links (for
Project, Visio, etc.) to Office's "New Office Document" dialog box - is this
possible?

I've search MS's KB and Google Groups but only find posts detailing how to
re-install the standard icon set if they become corrupted.

Not sure why MS doesn't generate the links during the install routines but
it would be nice...

Thanks,
Harry

Hi Harry,

Starting with the Office 2003 edition the installation of the Open and New Office document dialogs became a non-standard (optional)
installation feature of the MS Office Product Suites.

You may want to see if this article helps, but Visio and Project are fairly independently managed apps (i.e. neither is part of a
MS Office product Suite) and you may need to post in the Project and Visio newsgroups on this as well.
