Adding Resources and Fields

I am wondering if there is a way to add the "standard rate" field somwhere in
the template for adding a new resource without having the add a custom field?
Also, to make it a required field?

The Standard Rate field is a standard field. If you want to pre-populate it
with a value for each new resource you add to the Enterprise Resource Pool,
do the following:

1. Open a new blank project.
2. Click Tools - Options - General and enter the value in the Default
Standard Rate field.
3. Click the Set as Default button and then click the OK button.
4. Close but do not save the blank project.

Also, there is no way to make this a Required field in Project Server 2007.
Thus, you should make this a training and performance issue with your
Project Server administrators. Hope this helps.
