Adding sounds to continue on all slides

To TAJ Simmons
I am using mp3 files. I can get them all to work from my files except the
one I need to work with my slide presentaion. I have even tried CHANGE THE
DEFAULT SETTING FOR LINKING SOUND FILES.
I do not understand that one file will work and the longer one will not.
I thought the instructions would solve my problems but they are not that is
why I am looking for help.
My presentation is ready except for the music

From my nightmarish experience with sound files in PowerPoint the following
is true..all sound files MUST be saved in the same folder and you cannot add
it later if it is not there. You must re-create the folder and all of its
contents. Powerpoint does not play mp3's..only .wav files.
