Adding Status Manager

We have Project Server 2007.

Is there a way I can add a Status Manager other than the Project Owner?

When I look at the drop down list under the Status Manager column in Project
Professional, it only has the name of the one who created the Project.

How can I add someone else to be the Status Manager? Please advise. Thanks!

If you have the person who wants to become the status manager log into the
plan their name will be populated and they can choose their name. They can
then publish the plan and the timesheets or My work updates will come to them
for approval.
