Adding text to autoshapes

In PowerPoint, I can select an autoshape and start to
type, and the text will go in the shape. When I try that
in Word 2003, the text doesn't go in the shape.

How can I put text in an autoshape as I can in PowerPoint?

Right-click on the AutoShape and choose Add Text.
