Adding values in an adjacent column?

Hi All,

I'm new to Excel and would greatly appreciate it if some kind soul
would point me in the right direction...

I'm trying to create a table that adds values in column1 if the
adjacent field in column2 has a boolean.

I'm trying to make a simple calculator for hiding drives in our network
policy...

This must be possible, but I don't have the knowledge/syntax to make it
work.

perhaps a look in the help index for the SUMIF function would be helpful

Use =SUMIF(C2:C27,1,B2:B27)
