Adding Word Option to IE7 Tools/Programs/Drop down Box

I had to re-install my XP, I had the option in my Internet Exployer to use
Word as my Editor, I miss it. Somehow, it now only shows notepad. How do I
get it back into the Drop down box, without corrupting anything?

I tried, but when It came to the internet Exployer option, I declined because
I didn't want to overwrite IE7.

You could try reinstalling IE 7. I suspect that your restore wiped the
info thatIE used to know that Word was available.
