Adding words to my dictionary

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop Hi, the "Add" button is greyed out when spell checking e-mails and docs in Entourage and Word. I've tried deleting the custom dictionary and adding another, but that button stays greyed out! Please help.

Go to Entourage menu --> Preferences... --> General Preferences -->
Spelling. Click the Dictionaries... button and reselect your dictionary.
Mine is located here:

Macintosh HD:Users:myaccount:Libraryreferences:Microsoft:
Office 2008:Custom Dictionary

Hi Bill

Thanks, choosing the Custom Dictionary didn't help, but I created a new one and chose that and now all is well! Somehow the original custom dictionary was corrupt, I suppose.
