Adding YouTube videos to Office Mac's PowerPoint slides?

Ant

Hello.

Is there a way to add online (yes, Internet will be required) YouTube
videos to PowerPoint slides in PowerPoint (2008 and 2011) in Mac OS X
(10.5.8 and 10.8.5)? From quick web searches online, it seems like it
there are no options for this in Mac's Office since the options are
different from Windows' versions even if their Developer ribbon options
are enabled. It also seems plugins/addons are required to make this
happen? :(

Thank you in advance. :)

Ant is currently not listening to any songs on this computer.

I've learned recently that Google has the answer to so many technical
questions. Asking here is kind of a mixed blessing. But asking Google
gets you an answer without all the snarky judgement that comes with
Usenet.

Maybe you should try asking these sorts of questions in a Google search
before posting them here. It might save you some time.

Google does answer things - but with the explosion of "expert" solutions
to problems based on keyword searches you end up on such useless pages
as eHow and so on that are full of crap. Even the Apple discussion
pages are awash with misleading diagnoses and solutions.

Wrt "ant" he has a history of asking pretty lame questions that he could
get the answer to via the usual expedients of the FM, the product
website/support pages and yes, for that matter, a Google search.

Exacerbating his presence is his oft mentioned "one of my clients..."
which makes one wonder how he postures as an expert and then comes
running here for the most basic of things ...

Please reread what I said in my original post. Those options do not
exist in Mac Office when I tried it. I also said streaming YouTube
videos. No downloads, no plug-ins/addons, etc.

I never said I am an expert. That is why I came to you guys since you're
all experts. I am just an helper.
