address book shows business fax not email

M

I wrote earlier on this and was told it was impossible.
However, my address book now comes up showing 'business fax' under "display
name", and the fax numbers with +44 in front under the 'email' heading.
I have run diagnostics to no effect.
This started after I got rid of a Global Address.
Thank you

The problem is that you are having difficulty conveying any relevant
information in a clear fashion. Follow the well documented instructions for
configuring the Outlook Address Book and post back with what happens and
what you don't understand:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;287563&Product=ol2002
Where do I find the instructions for configuring? By the way, everything was okay before.

In spite of your high and mighty arrogance, I accidentally found out if I open each contact and save again, it seemed to reactivate the email addresses. It must have had something to do with the 'Global Address Book'

Not likely. It has more to do with how the Contact was created. As I said,
the address book view will display _every_ valid, resolved electronic
address that resides in a folder. Accordingly, in the folder you are
displaying the only valid electronic addresses are the fax numbers. Once you
create valid email addresses, they, too, will appear.

You do not seem to listen very well. I said there was no problem earlier so it was not the way the the contact was initially set up.

Problem is at your end. You continue provide no information whatsoever.
State precisely the changes you made to your configuration that created the
problem. State precisely how you created your Contacts. You did so in such a
way that the email addresses are not valid.
