Address Book vs. Contacts vs Bus Contacts

I would like to use Outlook 2003 Contacts for Personal
contacts and the Business Contacts in the Business
Contact Manager for my business names. In the properties
of the regular Contacts I have checked "Show this as an
Outlook Address book" but when I click to write an email
and click "To" I get the following error "THe address
list cound not be displayed. The Contacts folder
associated with this address lsit could not be opened; it
may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have
permissions."

When I click OK I get into "Select Names" dialog box but
the "Show Names from the:" drop down box has the
2 "Accounts", 2 Business Contacts and 4 "Contacts"
listed. I think this happened while I was attempted to
import my data from Outlook Express and ACT. I have two
MDF files and deleted outlook.pst 3 times because I kept
doing the import from OE wrong.

So the question is, how can I fix Outlook 2003 so that
only "Contacts" and "Accounts" and "Business Contacts"
appear in the "Show Names from the:" list and how can I
choose a default address book (I would like it to
be "Business Contacts".

Thanks so much.

Ick. That is one corrupted Address Book Service. Your best bet is just to
remove the Outlook Address Book Service entirely. Restart Outlook and Re-add
it. Then go through and designate which folders you want enabled as email
address books in the Properties of each Folder.
