can use to insert the addresses into Word?
Please help!!!!

You are posting a Word question in an Outlook group.
Are we to assume thereby that you have stored your addresses in Outlook?
What shall we assume your Word and Outlook versions are?

You are correct. I AM posting a Word question in an Outlook group. Here is
the reason: I posted the same question in the Word group. The only response
that I got back was "Outlook would make your life easier". So......what
would you have done?

I would have included in my post the fact that I was using Outlook as the
repository for all my Contact information.
Are you?
If so, I would have included the versions of Outlook and Word that I was
using so that someone could answer my question.

Good answer!! Did you think that maybe when someone posts a question on here
that they are needing help??? Ah...who'd a thunk it. I'm very sorry that I
didn't phrase my question like YOU would have. You seem like an unpleasant
person. I will pray for you. Thank you for all of your help. God bless.

All I did was tell you the information anyone would need to answer your
question.
Phrasing is not the issue. A complete lack of information is. Why don't you
pray for clairvoyance for those of us who try to help because that's what it
would take.

"those of us who try to help"? HELP?? You did nothing but try to be as
arrogant as possible. Here is some helpful info for you. OBVIOUSLY, not
everyone is as computer literate as YOU. So, therefore, we might not know
EXACTLY how to PHRASE or what information to give when we are asking for
HELP. This is for help, right? Or, should we already know everthying there
is to know so we don't have to ask these questions? I'll bet that's it!!
Well, I'm glad we settled that one. Thank you, again, for all of your HELP.
Again, I will pray for you. God Bless.

This has nothing to do with being computer literate. I am certainly not very
computer literate either. It simply has to do with providing enough
information for someone to provide an answer. How are we supposed to tell
you how to insert your addresses in Word when we do not even know where
those addresses are stored or even what software you are using? I simply
pointed out that you forced us to make too many assumptions to permit an
answer. I'm sorry you took such great offense at that. You could have simply
provided the information and then we could have answered. That's how this
usually works.

There are numerous ways to insert Outlook Contact information into Word that
we could tell you about if we knew you were using Outlook and what versions
of Outlook and Word you were using.

I don't have any addresses stored yet. I was just wondering if there was a
way of doing it. I did not know what info to provide in my question because
I wasn't sure if I was even in the right discussion group...just like you
said at the beginning, "you are posting a word question in an outlook group".
Okay...I'll try this again. I have Outlook Express 6, Word 2000, Windows
XP, Dell Computer, etc. I hope this is sufficient information. I type a lot
of letters in Word 2000. Is there an electronic address book in Outlook
Express 6 or anywhere else that I could use to add my addresses to and then
insert them into a Word 2000 document? This would, indeed, make my life
easier. Thank you very much.

I see. How odd that the Word folks sent you here without first determining
whether you were even using Outlook. No wonder we both got confused.
Only Outlook is a part of the Office Suite. Outlook Express is an unrelated
program that comes with Internet Explorer. Word only integrates with
Outlook, not Outlook Express, so your Contact information would need to be
stored in Outlook in order for you to have an address book from which Word
can insert names and addresses. If you have the entire Office Suite, then
you have Outlook . If you only have Word as a standalone product, then there
really aren't any good utilities to do what you want that I know of.
