address book

Outlook 2003. Installed and worked good for a while. Now have lost access to
address book, although contact list is ok. Outlook.pst is where it is
supposed to be, but when I click "TO" in a new email, no address list comes
up. instead, I get a "Select Names" box. When I try to select an account in
this box, I get a "problem" box, and then it returns me to the main outlook
window.

You left out what you did to corrupt your Outlook Address Book.
This can't just happen by itself.
