Adjacent cell, movement to

W

wgd.roaming

Good Afternoon:

A formula will move me to a specific cell. I then wish to retrive the
contents of an immediately adjacent cell. It does not matter if the
adjacent cell is to the left, right, above, or below the cell the
original formula move me to.

Example:

Orig formula moves me to B3. (could be any cell on the sheet)

Wish to retrieve contents of: B2 or B4 or A3 or C3.

Just wish to be consistent. Do it the same way each time the
original formula opens/lands on a specific cell.

Pls, how is this done?

Thank You,

Your explanation doesn't make any sense because formulas do not "move"
you anywhere.

If you're talking about the direction to move after pressing the
'Enter' key then this is set in the 'Options' dialog.

Said it wrong. :-( Thought that the example would do a better jpb,
clearly it didn't. Will rework the statement of the problem and post
again. Thank You for your "to the point" reply. Have a good day.
