Adjusted Actuals not being updated into project plan

We are using pro server 2003 and managed time periods. Reources are
reporting actual time. I have had to adjust actual time which had been
submitted to the wrong task and accepted in error. I used the adjust
actuals feature to do this. I set the time that was submitted to zero
and submitted the correct hours. Updated the actuals and accpted the
update. The hours have been correctly assigned to the correct task but
have not been removed from the original incorrect task.

I have tried to delete the zeros that i entered and update but I get a
message saying there is no new information to update.

I have also tried removing the time from the time phased data page of
the task usage view, saving and publishing , denying the sync with
actuals message. But as soon as I resync with actuals the time and
cost comes back into the plan against the task from which it was
removed via adjust actuals.

Also when I view the resources time sheets by logging on as them, the
correction that I made is reflected. The correction is also reflected
in adjust actuals so the information has been updated into the PWA
tables.

Please advise on how i get this reflected in the plan.

Hi Nuala,

Deleting it does not help. As per my knowledge deleting it does not changes
the value to null or '0'. So best option is to change it to '0' and then
update actuals and then accept the updates.
