adjusting depth of 3D object in Word.

In Word 2007 the variable option for changing the depth of a 3D does not seem
to be on the bottom of the list like it was in Word 2003. How can I adjust
the depth of a rectangle I have put in and then given it a 3-d effect? The
same format options are not in Word like they are in PowerPoint or Excel.

When you select the rectangle there should be a contextual Drawing Tools -
Format tab magically appear on the Ribbon. There's a 3D Effects button just
right of center that provides everything you're looking for... and more :)

Hi Bob,

In the prior versions of Word the 3D choices included the ability to type in a specific point value for the 3-D depth in addition
to the presets in the drop down menu when you use Insert=>Shape
(wrapping has to be on of course for the shape/picture <g>)

In Word 2007, there are just the presets.
Drawing Tools=>Format=>3-D Effects=>Depth

Cindy wrote a macro, if I recall, hmmm, okay here:
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...raphics/browse_thread/thread/934f8fbeace0fa21
to provide that variable for Word 2007.
