Adjusting the leading of type inside a cell

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Can't seem to find anywhere to change the space between lines of type inside a cell when I turn on text wrap. The software creates a huge gap and I can't make the cell taller.

There is no line spacing setting. Make sure you do not have the vertical
alignment set to "Justify", however, if you have increased the Row Height.

I think this is a pretty basic feature that they should include in future updates.

Well, not to argue with you ‹ it is unquestionably a "pretty basic feature"
in word processing, desktop publishing, page layout & other text-based
environments. I don't recall ever having seen it in any spreadsheet or other
data management software.

Keep in mind that you're always welcome to offer suggestions via Help> Send
Feedback. If there's enough demand it may be added in a future version of
the program but I don't believe that it's something that can be simply
'stuck in' by way of an update.
