Admin Access/SQL

Flying J

I setup a domain on a site that offers SQL and ASP. Using the Database
Wizards in FP (2002), I've had no problem creating forms that send data to
and display data from an Access database. (The Wizards really make it
simple.) However....

What is the best way to create, edit and delete tables in the database
remotely from my desktop?

Will the same solution work for both Access and MS SQL 2000?

Thanks!

Hi Flying J,

Assuming that you have a login and password to your SQL Server database, and
that by "SQL" you mean "SQL Server," and assuming that you have Access 2000
or better, you can create an Access Database Project (.adp) that connects to
the SQL Server and allows you to edit it as if it were local.

Thanks Kevin.

Yes - MS SQL but my Access is 2003. I'm going to seek out info on the
Access Database Project you reference. Again - many thanks.
