Admin image contains an older patch. Cannot patch.

I'm trying to install SP3 on a Standard version of Office
2000. I've downloaded the service pack to the pc as well
as using the Office update site. Looking in the error log,
I get the message "Admin image contains an older patch.
Cannot patch." I can post the entire error log if that
would help.
