admin privileges

The network specialist inquires whether Access app users will need "admin
privileges". By reading this forum, I know they need R,W,C & D to the folder
containing the MDE FE. Do they also need RWCD to the folder containing the
BE?

What is the most severe level of security we can impose on users and still
have the app work ?

The machine IUSR account needs Read and Write permissions to the MS Access
..MDB file. Those are the only permissions you need to have the database app
work correctly. You don't need the full RWCD. If you have problems then
give the IUSR account RW permissions to the folder the database is in as
well.
