OS: Windows XP; Email: Outlook Express 6.0
I have a very strange problem. I have profiles set up for myself and 3
children on one PC. I am the Admin, they are all Limited. I can send and
receive my email fine but when I try to send a test message from their
mailboxes to themselves, I get an error message indicating that the SMTP
server is blocked: Port 25, NO, Socket error: 10061, Error Number
0x800ccc0e. The message remains in the outbox.
When I send a test message from their webmail accounts, there is no problem.
Keep in mind that my email works just fine and that I have the same settings
for theirs. I have run all the Windows updates and my firewall allows
unlimited access to Outlook.
I originally had Earthlink TotalAccess on the system with parental controls
for the children. However, I have uninstalled TotalAccess. Any ideas? Do I
need to delete and re-create their profiles? I am at my wit's end!
