administrative prohibition 550. symantec patch needed

My outlook 2003 will receive email but won't let me
reply. comes up with message 'administrative prohibition
550' Phoned microsoft who said I have to get a patch from
symantec to overcome a problem with symantec password
validation that is linked to my norton antivirus. I can't
find it on the symantec support site.

Can anyone help me find it please? Perhaps a link or
another idea to sort it out.

Try removing the AV integration with Outlook. You don't need it any way.
