How shall we use the administrative projects of 2003 ?
Two questions posted by Costelu went unreplied.
We shall appreciate the support of MVPs.
Thanks.

Not sure what your question reallys is, be Administrative Projects in Project
Server 2003 is a small implementation for companies to do basic Time
Tracking (AKA non-working or non-project time).

That's pretty much all that Administrative Projects do.

I'm sure if you download the Project 2003 training documents it should go a
little more in detail on Administrative Projects.

Hope this helps.

Hi Matt,

I too am having issues with Admin Projects and would appreciate your input.
I had planned to use Admin Projects as a means of planning for unplanned
activities e.g. IT Support.

Having created a fixed duration task and assigning resources at 50% this
seems to work OK and shows up in the resource availability correctly.
However when we record actuals in the timesheet against an Admin Project
task the actuals get completed way into the future for many weeks which is
what we don't want.

Can anyone shed any light on a possible solution to this please ?

Is this the way we should be using Admin projects ?

Thanks

James
