administrative urgent matter

Hi,
how are you? i have read your review in one of the google groups..
can you help me in this problem regarding the ms project server 2003.
i have created an administrative project by using the admin. access
and he is the one who's gonna approve the timesheets for such
projects.
the problem that the PMs who have ms professional and have access to
open their projects ONLY can open this as well although they haven't
created it..how to solve this....
your response will be highly appreciated.

Hi yara,

Can the PMs who have MS Project Pro see other projects that they do
not own? If so, this points to a permissions issue with your PM
security category. We have a security categories split so that PMs
have R/W access to their own projects, but R/O access to projects on
which they are team members.

ok then, thanks for the response but one more question, why when a
member fills actual time on the administrative project it goes to all
members assigned on that project, it's bothering every one..how can i
solve the issue without removing the alerts from the other projects.
and do i have to publish the admin project each time i accept the
actuals???
thanks in advance
