Adobe Acrobat 6.0.1 Standard not opening word doc

I'm getting an Unexpected error(363)when trying to open a
word document with Adobe 6.0.1 Standard. I'm using
Office XP. Word will open after trying to open a
document, but then it will lock up for a second and then
display the unexpected error. When looking in VB, all
the process run except for when MPR.DLL is trying to be
accessed. How to fix?

Have you tried converting the Word document first from within Microsoft
Word, using the Adobe Acrobat link on the tool bar then open in Acrobat?

Is that a work around? No clues on the error?
